I get the strangest feeling I'm being judged every time I go into a Bob's. Just me?


I packed up my laptop for a late night trip to Bob's. I do my best thinking around greasy foods. Ran into a friend I hadn't seen in awhile and probably will not see ever again. I was reminded of a night we spent in Malibu after a film shoot. We came across a deer carcass and a man with a hook in the middle of the road while listening to the Halloween soundtrack (The man with the hook had just happened to have hit the deer with his car). But who knew Malibu was so scary at night.

On the way home from Spaceland we spotted a Space Invader on the side of a building...


Took home a few souvenirs. Hope Mr. Invader won't mind.

Marilyn Monroe Died Here (12305 5th Helena Dr.)

In bed. Naked. Her prescription bottles lined up neatly on the nightstand. Her journals burning in the fireplace.

We were once on a death tour of L.A. when we were chased off by the ghost of Marilyn's dog. True story. The owners don't like tourists wandering down their cul-de-sac to gawk at the last house on the left.
